Exclusive: New Defiance Poster
New artwork for Daniel Craig's latest

Empire has been given an exclusive poster for Daniel Craig's World War II epic, Defiance.

With defiant looks all round, it shows the three brothers who lead the uprising, played by Craig, Liev Schreiber and Jamie Bell. With those steely blues piercing through the poster, DC shows why he was the perfect choice for the lead as the Eastern European jew who took on the Nazis saving many people's lives.

Defiance is released on January 9.

most movie posters are shit
at the risk of sounding old (cuz I am) a great many movie posters these days are so uninspired its amazing someone would actually take credit for them. Look back to the 70s and this was the last great hurrah for poster art: Godfather, Chinatown, Jaws, Star Wars, Before that with 60s cool you got all the Connery Bonds, Hitchcock etc. Posters now HAVE to have their star looking exactly as they do in reality (ie a photo) and then they just chuck in some more characters here and there to fill More

Apologies
My last comment was a mess with no real conclusion. Long story short: This poster could be a lot better. More

Rico
If your a media student you surely have to look a bit deeper into it otherwise your heading for a 'U' with insight like that comment, for one it is not used to promote Quantum of Solace, it is being billed by Daniel Craig because he is actually the lead character would you believe! if this was a complete and utter Daniel Craig money making cash-cow then why are all three actors on the poster, just because their names are not listed does not mean that people are gonna say things such as "hey More

RE:
Rico Rodriguez there, proving why everyone hates media students - even other media students. L: Rico rodrigeuz Since I'm doing a media course, I can tell that this poster was purely made with Daniel Craig and Quantum of Solace in mind since he is the only actor listed at the top. They should trying to make money off another film when they could clearly do better. More

Rico -
'Since i'm doing a media course'?!?!?!? I suggest you ask for your fee's back, as any half-wit can see that this is the case, media course or not. Oh yeah, and the posters crap too. More

Wait, what are you trying to say? That they put the name of the star of the movie (who happens to be one of the most recognisable stars on the planet at the moment) above the title in order to *shudder* promote their movie?! Well I never... More
