Most of us would consider ourselves lucky if we reach 78 and are still fit to walk up the stairs - but Clint Eastwood has made two films this year, and the trailer for the second one, Gran Torino, in which he also stars, is up online here. The story sees the former Dirty Harry also star as Walt Kowalski, a Korean veteran with racist tendencies and a prickly relationship with his family. He gets unwillingly drawn into the life of his neighbourhood after standing up to a local gang when a young boy tries to steal his prized car, a Gran Torino. Judging by this trailer, Eastwood still looks very nearly as tough as he did in his gunslinging / maverick cop days, and this could be another hit for him in a year that will also see the release of his Changeling, starring Angelina Jolie and already an acknowleged Oscar contender.
