New Trailer For Resident Evil Sequel
Just when you thought the Evil had nowhere left to reside... along comes this direct-to-DVD animated sequel - yes ANIMATED! - which sets the gore filled people munching action in an airport of all places.

Taking place 7 years after the events ofRacoonCity, Degeneration sees the T-Virus unleashed once more, and it's up to hardened zombie battlers Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield to make the headshots and save the day.

Voiced by the same actors as the videogame, this looks set to be a fan pleaser with limited crossover appeal, although if they keep that awesome electric-guitar thrashing soundtrack from the trailer, we at Empire anticipate very big things indeed.

Empire, why do you always get your facts wrong. Resident evil Degeneration is an animated movie sequel to the games franchise. It has no links to the shit Live action Paul W Anderson's Clunkingly crap Resident evil Movies. I for one am glad that a real effort has been made to translate the brilliant game series to Film. ... Read More

RE: NOT AGAIN!
As a Resi Geek, I'll no doubt see this.  However, have to agree with previous critisims; it does look like a massive cutscene and the animation is nowhere near Advent Children..Also, what's the deal with Leon's face?!  Doesn't look anything like himself, looks like he's been pounded in to a new shape! ... Read More

RE: NOT AGAIN!
L: iamevilhomer! where is the atmosphere and sense of dread or even horror that the games (or at least 3 of them anyway) so effectively convey..? sp; The sense of dread or horror in the games only comes from the fact that in the games you are playing and controlling the characters whereas in this movie you will basically watch someone else play the game for you. ... Read More

RE: So...
I'm a massive fan of the game series and while a part of me is interested in watching this, another part of me thinks it's just going to be like watching the longest cut scene ever. Why not just pool all efforts into RE5 and bring that out asap? ... Read More

Did anyone seriously sit watching the cutscenes in RE4 thinking, "y'know, I could happily watch a whole 90 minutes of this"? No. A video game that you can't play. What moron thought that one up? ... Read More

L: Noelg25 Ok first off I thought Extinction was the last one! sp; I'm guessing the games makers have just been cashing the cheques for the movie profits and not worrying how they affect the games timeline...or the opinion of many that they are really bad films, Zombies, monsters and guns how do you get that wrong ANDERSON!???? ... Read More

Great no W.S Anderson! :D
One of the best aspects of the games for me have been the cut sequences, glad to see the developers are sick of the awful live action films we've had to suffer through so far. I'll be getting this. ... Read More
