Fast & Furious Trailer Online
Hey, this actually looks quite good

26 August 2008  |  Written by Olly Richards  |  Source: Myspace

The first trailer for Fast & Furious, the third sequel to The Fast & The Furious that stubbornly refuses to be called Fast & Fourious, is now online at Myspace, either below or in high-definition here. And, guess what, it looks quite fun.

The movie reunites the original cast of Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster, with Diesel's ex-con and Walker's cop forming an uneasy alliance to take on a bigger enemy.

Some of the dialogue after the opening sequence was definitely on the cheesy side, but that opening action scene with the team trying to hijack the petrol tankers, that was pretty cool.

RE: Holy... well, bugger me backwards with a barstool.
First one was pretty cool, second one was just about watchable, if only for the amusing homoerotic undertones of the two main guys, but the third one with all it's shitty awfulness actually managed to wipe out a large portion of my brain cells, I literally felt more stupider as I left the cinema.....   But, that trailer wasn't too bad, depending on what type of reviews it gets I'll more than likely give the franchise one more chance. The director of this one does actually d More

RE: Holy... well, bugger me backwards with a barstool.
I don't care if Empire give it the worst review of all time I'm gonna see this. If it's anything like the first then it'll be enjoyable. It's cool to see all the original cast back. Fingers crossed. More

Holy... well, bugger me backwards with a barstool.
This actually looks pretty bloody good. Add to that the inherent spice from the 2001 original, and the fact that The Gang's All Here (Chris Hewitt, I disagree with you in this particular case - http://www.empireonline.com/empireblog/Post.asp?id=187) , and you've got me about the most unexpectedly excited I have for a film since I saw the trailer for Rambo. This actually does look good.
One thing that I've noticed is that they have spent more money on the technical side of it- Sound, visual effects unlike 2fast 2furious and this actually looks more enjoyable. More

RE:
I've only seen the first one having said I'd catch the others on DVD and never actually having got around to it.  I assume like many 3/5 star films I'll decide if I want to see it dependent on a) competition and b) bank balance but the trailer was entertaining enough. More

I don't mind admitting I like these films purely as no-brainer entertainment (and the fact they seem to know sod all about cars....danger to manifold WTF??), they aren't trying to be the next shawshank redemption, they're about cars...that's it. I spy an RS200 in the trailer too! I'll not go out of my way to see it but will catch it on DVD More

Everyone needs a dose of chesse and cliches every now and then and the Fast and Furious franchise does it like no other. As a closet fan I'm looking forward to it. (Of course I'd never admit that in public) More

alright, chill out clarkkent, so maybe its a sequel. whatever. quit calling me a knob head. that's mean. you're mean. the least they could do is call it fast and the furious 4 or some shit. fast and furious... that's just silly. and its not like the world was crying out for another frickin movie about fast cars and women and explosions and stuff.... unless perhaps it was. whatever! dumb title! i've always enjoyed the fast and the furious movies, they were good, fun, pop corn movies. And the thing i liked most of all was the relationship between diesel and walker so this should be good. I've said from the start i'm looking forward to it so this trailer has just confirmed my theory. And StayPuft2, what the fuck are you talking about. This is neither a reboot or a remake its a fucking sequel knob head, not a reboot. And for the record i didn't think the dialogue was cheesy at all More

Yeah, but it's got loads of cool cars!!
People are right about the editing - they are devilishly clever, those blokes with scissors - they can make anything look pretty good. But c'mon, I lost count of the amount of cool 70s muscle cars, 80s low riders and the general plethora of good stuff on wheels in that trailer. Plus, got a soft spot for Diesel - he's a bit dopey looking but he IS bald (so he's a top lad in my book) and he was also damn good in Saving Private Ryan - just a shame he doesn't get the chance to do other meaty films More

jeeze
this is getting kinda tiresome, movies that aren't really sequels or remakes, but are re-imaginings/boots/boosts/treads etc that can't even be bothered to change the original title save for a few 'thes'. "oh did you see the hulk?" someone will ask "which one? incredible?" "was that the ang lee one?" "no". what the flip is the point? there's gotta be, like, a new idea out there somewhere, i just know it. More

dull and delerious
I'm thrilled, i mean he's clearly suited to the part having a surname like Diesel. I heard Gary Gasoline and Peter Petrol auditioned but missed out. Well, lets face it y'all, were heading into the quiet season for good movies, I'd rather watch a sock puppet reenactment of the Whoopi Goldberg classic: Jumping Jack Flash. More

The original is a solid action film, love it and this looks on par with that. Hope so anyhow. It's great that everyone is back and it now looks like Rodriguez has an expanded role, considering she was only slated to make a brief cameo at the start. More

fairplay for gettin the original cast back. they r such huge stars in their own right, must have been some bumper pay days going on!! the main reason i will see this film is that i realy need to know if Vin still lives his life a quarter of a mile at a time and if so could he explain exactly what the fuck that means. rodriguez is lookin' good though and the chick who plays Vin's sister is always good for the wank bank.
