Mottola Directing Pegg & Frost's Paul
But Simon Pegg off Inglorious Bastards

Mottola Directing Pegg & Frost's Paul
Simon Pegg has just informed us of two mixed pieces of news – yes, we name dropped, deal with it – about his upcoming slate.

In good news, he says that Greg Mottola, who directed the excellent Superbad, will be calling the shots on Paul, the upcoming movie written by Pegg and Nick Frost. Details on the script are minimal at the moment, but it is known that the story concerns the pair taking a road trip across America and, as Jessica Hynes let slip in our Comic-Con video diaries, the story will start at San Diego Comic-Con.

In bad news, Pegg will no longer be appearing in Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Bastards. Pegg was set to play a British officer, but scheduling difficulties mean that he has had to withdraw.

This concludes your Simon Pegg update.

Is there a strawberry, vanilla and blueberry cornetto? or a licourice cornetto? (black, for tarmac). Ok, so I'm getting aheadof myself, but who doesn't want as many cornetto films as those guys can be forced to make? - even though obviously this can't be one because Wright isn't er.. writing. and directing. ... Read More

HURRAH 4 THE BASTARDS
Just when I thought their was no hope for the QT, the waste of space and crap actor pulls out, thank fuck! Now an actual actor that is funny and can actually act can take his place! And make the film good! As for this new film, with it starting at Comic Con better not be a comedy aimed at taking the piss at comic fans! Or my hate for Pegg will multiply! Talk bout bastards! ... Read More
