Jack White & Alicia Keys Duet For Bond
Another Way To Die to be Bond 22 Theme

Jack White & Alicia Keys Duet For Bond
Forget all those Amy Winehouse rumours, the theme song for Quantum of Solace, the 22nd Bond film, will be sung by Alicia Keys and Jack White.

The song, called Another Way To Die, as the press release excitably informs us, will be the first duet in Bond history. The song is written and produced by White. Interestingly, he also played drums on the song, presumably leaving White Stripes bandmate Meg sitting at home carefully arranging her wardrobe into red and white.

Another Way To Die will be released on October 28.

RE: rockin
Shame its not Jack White and Amy Winehouse. But Alicia Keys has an awesome voice, Jack White is one of the best (if you dont like white stripes try the raconteurs), might surprise people.    Looking forward to hearing it but lets be honest there arent exactly that many good bond themes really are there? A View to a Kill? The Living daylights? Goldeneye? They were pretty awful, im sure theres worse ones out there its just I cant be bothered to remember them. The last Bond th... Read More

Awww, no Meg. After the Audioslave sound from Casino Royale, I kinda hoped for a Foo Fighters or Nine Inch Nails song. Maybe in the future they will ask Muse..it'll even stay British that way. ... Read More

Oh, and another thing...
I too am very glad it's not Wino and Ronseal. Wino has a good voice but needs to get a grip, and Ronseal does exactly what it says on the tin - he stains and tarnishes anything you put him on. ... Read More

Hmm...
Jack White is brilliant and the White Stripes are an amazing band. Not really an Alicia Keys fan at all, but she does have a good voice. Hope they go down the rockier route now bond has his cool back, otherwise this could just be another 'meh' theme tune. Live and Let Die is still the best by a million miles, and anyone who disagrees needs their ears checking and their face slapping ... Read More

I to would have much preferred Winehouse, for all her lunacy shes got maybe the best voice in the business. Her music gives things a certain tone, kinda like Mad Men. Jack White and Alicia Keys is maybe the strangest paring i could have thought of but they're both very talented so hopefully something good will come of it, but I've no idea what it'll sound like. ... Read More

RE: Jack White & Alicia Keys Duet For Bond
EON has been trying to artificially manufacture a hit song, ever since Duran Duran's "A View to a Kill" placed on the charts.  Regardless of what you think of the songs themselves, would-be pop hits by a-Ha, Sheryl Crow, Garbage, Madonna, and Chris Cornell generally failed to get much consumer attention, apart from James Bond fans.   I have no reason to expect anything dire from the pairing of Jack White and Alicia Keys.  Rather, I just hope it'll be a good song with a real B... Read More

Great stuff.
Can't wait to hear it - two great vocalists, should make for a very good song. If it's anywhere near as good as Live And Let Die (the last really good rock Bond theme) it'll be awesome. ... Read More
