Star Trek Character Posters
See the Enterprise crew and the baddie

UPDATE: Now available in much higher resolution at starttrekmovie.com

EW has a first look at character posters for JJ Abrams' Star Trek, which will be handed out to attendees of this year's Comic-Con. Click the image below to see all of EW's Comic-Con coverage.

The posters show Chris Pine as Captain Kirk (looking a lot cooler than William Shatner), Zachary Quinto as Spock (looking a dead ringer for Leonard Nimoy), Zoe Saldana as Uhura (looking quite lovely) and Eric Bana as the as-yet-unspecified villain (looking freaking weird). They look very cool to us.

What do you think?

RE: IVE FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT!
I think it looks pretty cool to be honest. Zachary Quinto looks brilliant, I can't wait for it to come out. More

IVE FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT!
Kirk looks like James Van Der Beek as Sean Bateman (yep Patricks bro) from Rules of Attraction in that pic More

Cool. Nice, very nice. Love it and i'm not even a 'big' Trek fan. To be picky, just lacking, from a design point of view, the film title logo in the bottom right white space. or if it is there it wants to be bigger. P.S - Sylar as Spock look's the business (he was the best thing in heroes as it was) ;) More

Never mind Scotty, why no Sulu or McCoy either?? More

Arresting...
...the shot of Zachary, as Spock, made me double-take! My God he looks like a young Leonard Nimoy!! Kirk looks great too! Lovin' the retro look. Bring it on! More

I'm not a Star Trek fan...

IcyBee i think uhura made it as they needed a gal. Not all men! Although the men there are pretty fine, ok, well, Chris Pine is at least! More

Good clicking, that man
I'm with Waltham1979 - the Bale picture is the business. More

Is it real?
If it is it looks terrible. It looks like something an art student would knock together on photoshop in a couple of minutes. More

How could you miss it !!!!
if you click next photo a couple of times you get a nuts to the wall photo of Bale in Terminator 4 shooting a Terminator in the head !!! !!! thats frickin awesome - surely was news worthy Empire !! !! !! More

Why do I get the feeling...
...it could be one of those movies that will end up being just like an episode of Smallville or something on a big screen? More

NO ONE LOOKED COOLER THAN SHATNER IN THE 60S
nice retro looking - like if theyd made a Trek film in the 60s (like they did with Batman) More

does that look like Jason Shwartzman? or is it just me? More

Where's Scotty?
How come Scotty doesn't make it onto the poster, but Uhura does? The chief engineer's much more important than the person who answers the phone! ...or does the reboot significantly change her role? More

Sorry, but…
…20 seconds ago I thought it would be a great idea to reboot the franchise. Then I saw this poster. More

Wahoo!
Looks the biz. Zachary looks awesome, as does everyone else. I have to say that Kirk is supposed to be one of the youngest Captains in the fleet when he took command of the Enterprise, so its falls in line with Trek history! More

Hey, where's Kirk's charm gone?
He's got that teen psycho look, like Mark Wahlberg in Fear. Hmm. More

bana's character (SPOILERS maybe)
I thought Eric Bana was going to be playing a romulan in this film? His makeup in this poster makes him look more like Darth Maul. More

Young 'uns
This is set around their time at the Academy, guys. They're bound to look younger. It's definitely set before their 5 year TOS mission anyway. More

Loving the retro look!
This poster looks awesome!! Yeah Chris Pine might look a wee bit too young to steer the Enterprise but hey, lets reserve judgement for now! It's kinda freaky that Zachary Quinto is a dead ringer for Leonard isn't it?! I love the design of this poster! More

Spock looks cool! Not sure about an OC Shatner though... More

where man has gone before . . .
Spock and baddie looking pretty good to me, like the poster work too, but is it me or does Kirk look like he got lost on his way to a Math high school class. I mean if he is the captain of the enterprise then i think i just heard some Klingons pissin themselves with laughter. Live long (and hope . . . just hope it does) prosper More
