Terminator Salvation Teaser Online
A teaser for Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins (evidently they've dropped the sub-title) has gone online over at Yahoo. Watch it here.

There's not a great deal of footage to discuss, and most of what's shown has a jerky effect on it, but that is one big robot at the end. The thing it does have is plenty of spooky atmosphere. Could this be McG silencing his critics?

Terminator 4 takes place during the war between man and machine, and marks the beginning of a new trilogy for the series. The cast includes Christian Bale, Helena Bonham Carter, Anton Yelchin, Common, Bryce Dallas Howard and Sam Worthington.

So, what do you think of this first look?
Olly Richards

Will It Beat The First As The Greatest One?
Though it's a very short trailer, it shows a lot of promise. Christian Bale sounds and looks sexy in this, I'm glad they chose him for this after Batman, he can't always be tagged with the same role. But here's the real question: will it beat the first as the greatest one? Not sure but I'll be there to see it next year. ... Read More

I might give it a shot!
I have always been pretty sceptical about further Terminator releases since number 3 which may I say was BAd!! - however look at the way franchises are being re-booted lately, Batman for example now are they or are they note better than some of the previous attempts? - I for one love Arnie as the Terminator and love T1 and T2, but I reckon this could be the one to get that series back into shape ... Read More

dont go and see it if your a T2 is the best film ever person
IT WILL NEVER BE AS GOOD AS T2 !! no terminator film directed by anyone or starring anyone will be as good. I for one am actually curious to see what this is like i think the teaser looks pretty good so far. entirely different story should make it more interesting and no more arnie cant be a bad thing. i mean with millions of arnie clones roaming around you have to wonder how the resistance fail to sopt have of them..." hey is that your hulking austrian twin...wait triplet....wait quad...wa... Read More

t4
I agree with pog, the trailer was terrible. T2 was my all time fav film, i loved t1 & t3 also, but not so much. If you read this McG then remember one thing, look how t2 was put together, script and action scenes (inc the use of cgi) then you will be onto a winner. Try to reinvent to much for a completly new style of film and you may run into trouble!!!!! ... Read More

Rubbish!
This teaser tells us nothing about the upcomming film, it looks more like the Cloverfield 2 trailer than anything to do with the Terminator, McG's an arse. ... Read More

Please Leave Alone
(Ignoring T3), this is another once great series probably ruined by very expensive, but pointless CGI and a very tossy director Arnie was the perfect terminator; it’s far easier to believe he’s a cyborg than an actual human being. McG is clearly a useless hafwit. Rewatch Charlie’s Angels. As a guy, the first is only saved by 1. Cameron Diaz’s rearend. 2. Drew Barrymore’s Cleavage. 3. Lucy Liu’s dominatrix outfit. The action sequences only stir the blood as... Read More

Cautiously optimistic
This McG project is looking better and better. Admittedly its still early days but, I'm getting a good vibe about this. By all normal rules of the universe, it should suck (its McG after all). But, having seen so many movies that were, on paper, so right and yet turned out to be a pile of cack, maybe its time for one that appears dodgy yet kicks ass. ... Read More
