Watch The Watchmen Trailer On Friday
There's been a very long wait for a first look at footage from Zack Snyder's take on Watchmen, The Greatest Comic Book Of All Time™. That wait is very nearly over.

The trailer for the movie, about a world where betighted crime fighting heroes have been outlawed, will be showing in US cinemas in front of The Dark Knight. But for those outside the US, or who haven't snapped up a ticket for Batman's first day, you can see the trailer exclusively online here at Empire on Friday morning from 5am GMT (or 9pm PST on Thursday). Trust us, it's worth getting up early for.

Watchmen will be released in March 2009.

RE: Watchmen trailer
That's a pity, 'twas a good exclusive for Empire. Whatever happened, Apple trailers have been b]quick off the mark getting the high def version up. And the HD one is pretty sweet, it has to be said. ... Read More

RE: Watchmen trailer
L: kenada_woo And is it a crime to use the Smashing Pumpkins song they did for Batman And Robin? thought that was a nice cheeky touch! The song from Batman and Robin is "The Beginning is the End is the Beginning", whereas the one used in this trailer is "The End is the Beginning is the End". It's like they're saying "we will be the opposite of what Batman and Robin was" i.e. not terrible! Trailer is still up ]too. Although it's youtube stuff - I reckon it's best to wait for Empire... Read More

RE: damn
L: kenada_woo I still think its gonna be a clusterfuck and will bomb. The comic is too dense IMO, better or worst for it (some characters are cliched in context of today's audience, some of it to complex etc) and I dont think Snyder's best trait is his writting (have you seen 300?). Trailer looks fine (yawn another comic book movie but one that the general public dont know anything about), but looks like it has far too much slow-mo that killed 300 for me.  And is it a crime ... Read More

I agree with Wullie. The music is improper, the rock music worked with 300s trailer, this is a different type of film. But with each viewing its getting better. Maybe cos its in crap flash format. I will reserve judgement till I see it in illustrious HD. (hopefully Empire will live up to its 5am hype and post HD format) mmm hmm! You guys are bad though, stealing their thunder and posting links up here to the trailer on other sites.. How dare you!.... Meanwhile, heres a slighty larger version for... Read More
