High School Musical 3 Trailer Online
Like, OMG, totally.

14 July 2008  |  Written by Helen O'Hara  |  Source: Disney

Like, this could totally be the most exciting thing ever. Disney's insanely popular - with a certain segment of the population - High School Musical franchise is leaping from small to big screen with its third instalment, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, and the trailer is online now, for all your choreographed teenager needs. Check it out, should you wish, here.

For those of you above the age of 12, and therefore not in the know, the series is set in a pastel-coloured high school where the students spend less time shooting each other / shooting up and more time breaking into elaborately staged musical numbers, their routines dictated by the mood swings of the popular kids, basketball and musical star Troy (Zac Efron), his brainy girlfriend Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens) and drama queen Sharpay* (Ashley Tinsdale), who often tries to keep the dream couple apart for reasons too silly to explain. The results are a bit like the Andrex puppy: wildly enthusiastic, kinda cute in an obvious way, but ultimately soft rather than strong.

We're sensing a few nods to a certain Travolta/Newton-John musical this time, only without the sex, drugs, violence and rock 'n' roll. Still, it is worth knowing that this is out there. If you're trying to curry favour with a rich widow / widower with young children, a trip to see this will pretty much seal the deal with the kiddies, and land you in the mansion in minutes. So there is a point to this franchise, honest.

*Apparently people deliberately christen their children with names like these.

RE: Like, OMG!!
Agreed- Disney is pretty smart. The pre-teens love the good looking charming characters, the catchy songs, and large dances. Plus the story lines make it like a mini soap opera musical for kids. So they just eat it up. More

RE: Like, OMG!!
After 10 years entertaining children for a living, I have a begrudging resepct for High School Musical, it's does what it does and it does it very well. I Have both of them on DVD, purely for learning the dance moves if i'm honest. Not sure I can bring myself to actually go to the cinema for the third one, at least it will be tax deductable as 'research' :D Jonti More

LOL it sounds like you are being sarcastic, but High School Musical is a really good series. Also, the fact that its finally coming to theaters leads me to believe that this will be the best one yet More

RE: Like, OMG!!
I keep checking the Disney site hoping there is some new news they have about the movie. Hopefully they start coming out with more trailers and letting us hear some of the new songs sooner rather than later. I don' t think I can wait much longer More

RE:
I'm actually excited for this movie because I want to see what's in store for Tro and Gabriella. Also this is the first time they are coming to the big screen, so I think the possibilites for what they can do will be exciting. I didn't see a link posted anywhere so here is a link to the trailer: http://disney.go.com/index More
