300 and sin city
were far from kiddie friendly and they did well so i think watchmen will do well- especially the dvd with the extra film. More

RE: yes!
Finally got around to reading the graphic novel, wanted to have it read before I saw the movie. Two things struck me about it 1 Totally lived up to all the hype. 2 I don't see how it can translate into a sucessful movie. Not saying the movie is going to suck, in fact everything I've sen so far looks amazing and any changes they've made have been for the best. But the comic is so complex and works on a different level to every other superhero movie. Will audiences be ready for a non kiddie frend More

RE: yes!
Alan Moore deserves the best.  I am confident that Zack Snyder can pull it off as what I've seen so far makes me happy. More

RE: Very promising...
It is looking more and more impressive with each bit of info It looks as if this is a labour of love for everybody involved (well certainly the director) so while Im not sure if its going to equal the comic, its certainly going to deliver a very entertaining movie for fans and non fans alike ....now if only Alan Moore would come around More

RE: Very promising...
L: optimus Although I'm still doubtful that they can do justice to this epic story in just a 2 hour movie it certainly seems as if creatively they're getting a lot right t's actually 3 hours, if all the talk is to be believed. And that's just the theatrical cut. There's a strong rumour that the DVD cut will be approx 4 and a half!! So even if the entire comic couldn't fit that time, I reckon they have a chance to do the best job possible for a movie adap... More

Very promising...
Although I'm still doubtful that they can do justice to this epic story in just a 2 hour movie it certainly seems as if creatively they're getting a lot right and with each video I see I'm getting more and more excited about this. Some of those panel-to-shot comparisons almost gave me a geek-gasm! March 2009 seems a very long way now... More

Screenplays?
If you've got an interesting pitch for a movie or even a screenplay how the hell do you go about getting people to read it?! Does anyone have any idea what your first port of call is? More
