TDK clips in High Def!
Ok, way too cool - great TDK clips, trailers and behind-the scenes making of stuff, and the clips are amazing quality, HD and SD too. http://www.comcast.net/thedarkknightmovie/ More

RE: Surprised at the stagered release...
I agree. It has been an inspiration and worth watching, reading and looking at everything they've put out. But one thing is still niggling me and that's the amount of stick it's taking for the promotion and I've said this before: If you don't like it, don't look. It's not hard. Ibelieve inHarveyDent, defo on the Joker Oscar and boredbluekoala I hope it blows everything so far out of the water there's nothing like it until the third one comes out. There's a third full trailer doing the rounds
Although it does not seem to contain much that we haven't already seen. I feel this film will stand alongside Aliens, Empire Strikes Back and Godfather pt 2 as a sequel that was better than the original, having said that, the originals were so good that they are rightly regarded as absolute classics, which I suppose says a great deal about the quality of Batman Begins. I hope THE DARK KNIGHT has an absolutely Massive - Record breaking opening weekend. More

Surprised at the stagered release...
I findit incredible that the most hyped film EVER is going to have a staggered release rather than an international release date. I thought they'd be wanting to limit the impact of piracy on this one. Oh, and when the book is written on the making of the Dark Knight, if they don't have a whole section on marketing, it just won't be fair. It's been inspired. More

RE: re again: why so serious
I love trailers and tv spots. They are like milky ways, a treat you can watch between movies without ruining your appetite. I don't think they spoil films at all. More

re again: why so serious
I agree with J Rockwell, yes we all know that TV spots are financially motivated but they suit this film so well. The whole point of a viral marketing campaign is to give away little by little to keep the audience excited about what is coming next. The TV spots are perhaps showing 1 line of new dialogue each time, the rest is generally stuff we've seen in the main trailers. I think the marketing campaign for this film has been right on the money and has kept me thrilled. I mean theres less th More

RE: WHY SO SERIOUS !!!!
If they make it to ten trailers before the film comes out, I'd say they've used about five minutes of film, tops. Because they keep using the same clips in different orders. Then you have to take into account the footage which was shot exclusively for the trailers and which doesn't even appear in the film. So worst case, you have seen five minutes of a two hour film. You will see it at the cinema because you'd be a fool not to, no other reason. You'd be crazy not to go and see a film you w More

WHY SO SERIOUS !!!!
This is serious, too much they show, so little left to see what it could be. I am wondering why those guys behind the desk say more ad's more more more. Do they not think they will get people into the cinema if they dont show half the movie in trailers and TV spots? I know its $$$$$. But i cant wait til the day that a movie is due for release and has no ads just posters or teasers, simple effective work is the way. I will see this at the cinema, but so many films i have decided to wait for dvd ( More
