Chris Carter Shooting Secret Project
X-Files 2 director making Fencewalker

25 June 2008  |  Written by Olly Richards  |  Source: The Hollywood Reporter

Chris Carter sure does like to keep secrets from people. The plot for the second X-Files movie is still locked away somewhere, guarded by the Lindbergh baby and Lord Lucan, and now news emerges that the director is putting together a new project in secret.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Carter is currently filming a movie called Fencewalker, with a cast that includes Natalie Dormer, Kate Cassidy (daughter of David), Xzibit, Derek Magyar and Meckah Brooks.

The film is described as a dark coming-of-age, semi-autobiographical drama that doesn't contain any supernatural elements. The project is said to be self-funded and does not currently have a distributor.

So, why is Carter keeping this is a secret? If it's not a big Cloverfield type thing then why not just announce it? Does this go all the way back to the President? Is 9.30am too early for chocolate? Do these trousers match this shirt? The world needs to know!
