If you want to see who's funeral it is, you can look back in the Movie News section in Empire Magazine a couple of issues ago. There is a picture with a character holding a newspaper with an obituary in it. You can clearly see who it is for. I think Empire should have been a bit more careful in printing that pic. Gave far too much away. More

I must admit I have had this little voice in the back of my head saying 'what if this isn't good?' After seeing these new TV spots I have absolutley no doubt that TDK will be nothing less than excellent and will be the greatest comic book movie of all time! More

...that they don't give the Joker too many cheesy one-liners. Out of all the promos I've seen, this was the only one that gave me a twinge of nervousness. That "I really love this job!" line was a bit off. But hey, at least it's not "cooool party!" More

This had better live up to the hype, though Heath Ledger looks the price of admission alone.
Two things bother me though. 1. Why does Bruce Wayne smoke 20 untipped Capstan before he dons the cowl? He sounds...well....a little silly to be honest. 2. How long does it take to put on and take off the black mascara around his eyes and does he feel silly doing it?

Im beginning to go with mancalledpete, the joker looks good, but not really how he actually is. Bits of the voice are incredible bits arnt, and somtimes he just loks like manson with run make up rather than scary. He looks good, but not quite as amazing i as i originally thought. More

theres so much build up to this movie that im ready to burst open, not only is looking great but its shaping up one of th best movies ever (personal opinion of course) even if the best action scenes have been shown its the realtion ship between bruce and harvey that dynamic which is going to be the real heart of the story at least it should, and its just a bonus that Heath Ledgers last completed performance looks like will be a ultiment tribute to a great young actor More

It really does feel like I've been on a day-before-release level of anticipation for this film for over a year and a half. Curse them and clever viral marketing, awesome trailers and pedigree of excellence that promises such impossibly wonderful things (and in a scarily believable way - we all knew Phantom Menace would probably disappoint, same with Indy, and yet this this film being perfect seems somehow inevitable.)
