Benjamin Button Teaser Goes Live

It’s been a long time coming but netheads have finally been given the chance to check out the teaser trailer for David Fincher’s upcoming modern fable The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button. Click below to take a look or click here.

It appears the Fight Club director has been poring over the work of Jean-Pierre Jeunet as it’s all looking rather City Of Lost Children – but we reckon that can’t be a bad thing.

The movie, adapted from the classic 1920s story by F. Scott Fitzgerald, finds Brad Pitt playing a character who was “born under unusual circumstances” – a man who enters the world in his eighties and ages backwards. The story begins in New Orleans at the end of World War I and follows Button’s backwards trajectory into the 21st Century.

Fincher’s follow-up to Zodiac also stars Cate Blanchett, Tilda Swinton, Jason Flemyng, Elias Koteas and Julia Ormond. It’s due to be released in the new year, although no UK date has been confirmed yet.

L: AYBGerrardo agent cooper, i agree, zodiac was last year's best in the UK... TWBB is already this year's best (and slightly better than Zodiac if you count it as a 2007 movie) imo, juuust ahead of NCFOM... And yes, Pitt is an amazing underrated actor...regardless of what people like darktrain say, his performances in Se7en, Fight Club, Babel and Assasination (among others) make him for me one of the finest actors of the generation... Benjamin Button will be a real tear-jerker btw..... Read More

Beautiful teaser, but...
...I really have to wonder how they're going to get around the biological impossibility of a woman giving birth to a full grown man, no matter how small and wrinkly they make him as an 80 year old! Looks like its going to take one enormous suspension of disbelief, but otherwise seems set to be a very sweet film. ... Read More

The movie looks awesome folks.....
IGN has the new PUNISHER trailer starring Ray (im out of Rome) Stevenson, it seems to have sod all in common with the Thomas Jane version of a couple of years back, which will, in time, be regarded as a quality classic compared to the sub-standard straight-to-dvd crapathon featured in this godawful talent free sequel-trailer. ... Read More
