Even in a summer awash with all manner of superheroics, we reckon that Hancock has the stones to stand out as a true crowd-pleaser.

It’s got Empire favourite Peter Berg (he who helmed The Kingdom) directing, king of the A-list, Will Smith, starring and it’s all about an alcoholic metahuman causing all manner of big-budget mayhem – what more could you want from a summer blockbuster? I've got to say that this actually looks like it could be a really good film and I'm genuinely excitied by it. That may be because it's a film with an original idea and it's about time we had one of those. More

that doesnt make it look like a comedy. Its odd, all the trailers have funnies butt they also have an odd melancholy feel to them. Still looks pretty good. More
