Washington Joins A Thousand Words
Kerry, that is, not Denzel

Kerry Washington has had her share of dealing with difficult men. She had to deal with Ray Charles' infidelities in Ray, was wed to a complete psycho in The Last King of Scotland, and romanced a big lump of stone in the Fantastic Four films. But now she's in for her biggest challenge yet, as she plays opposite Eddie Murphy in A Thousand Words.

The plot of the film has Murphy as a fast-talking ad executive who learns that he can only say 1,000 more words before he dies. Washington plays his wife and the mother of his son, who wants him to slow down and spend more time with his family.

The script's by Bruce Almighty and Click screenwriter Steve Koren, with Brian Norbit Robbins directing. Look out for this one in spring of next year.
