New Red Band Trailer For The Happening
Shyamalan's latest – now with added gore
Source: IGN

New Red Band Trailer For The Happening
We see mutilated people… all the time.

If the red band trailer for M. Night Shyamalan's latest spooky flick is anything to by, The Happening is going to be one hell of a sick flick. We’ve already had glimpses of people jumping off buildings and doing all manner of ill-advised self-evisceration but the latest X-rated promo doesn’t hold back on the gore – check out the combine harvester bit, ewww!

We’ve got no idea what the hell is going on but an ill wind quite literally seems to be blowing across America as the population start to drop like flies as Mark Wahlberg looks both concerned and bemused while trying to protect his family.

Have a gander below.

There are also three new TV spots which you can check out here, here and here.

So, are you scared yet?

RE: New Red Band Trailer For The Happening
I cant help but think of the episode of the Simpsons when Homer found the pile of sugar hearing the opening lines where Wahlberg asks about the bees "...and NO BEES...means...NO NOISE!"p; could be interesting though, I still rate Unbreakable as Shylamalans best movie, its also along with The Incredibles and Batman Begins one of the best superhero movies ever made imo, such an interesting concept before Heroes came along and built on it ... Read More

L: Tech_Noir L: kenada_woo Saw it a few days ago.  It looks good but I hope M.Night doesnt doing something stupid by having something daft as killer plants causing people to kill themselves hahaha.....Oh wait ote] Kenada, you should know better. That's a spoiler. would've said the same thing Tech, except one of Shyamalan's drafts leaked months ago and the cat was quickly out of the bag. News of the concept was unavoidable unless you unplugged from the internet. ... Read More

RE: Best thing about it
Hugely looking forward to this - negative reviews be damned. And if that spoiler about what's behind the happening is true - am I the only one that doesn't have a problem with it? Sounds quite neat, like something you'd get in a Twilight Zone episode or find in a short Stephen King story. And is it really any more silly than the dangers in War of the Worlds or 28 Days Later? ... Read More

RE: This is going to be creepy
The cause of the crisis might sound daft but it does seem to be portrayed and put together extremely well and it looks darn creepy to me. Of course if that was gonna happen it surely would have by now but since when has sci fi been beliveable? If it was it wouldn`t be science fiction it would be science fact. It doesn`t have to be possible (although that helps) to be scary and gripping just done well with a great cast of actors. I`m looking forward to it and I`m sure if you loved Signs and The ... Read More
