Scott Pilgirm (aka Superbad’s Michael Cera) could well have found the object of his affection in the rather lovely shape of Mary Elizabeth Winstead. The Death Proof/Die Hard 4.0 star is in negotiations to star in Edgar Wright’s adaptation of the cult comic book in Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World.

While this is unlikely to the meaty role that Winstead really needs following a slew of unchallenging supporting parts, Scott Pilgrim certainly sounds like it could play to her spunky girl-next-door strengths.
