Simpsons Movie director goes to Disney

David Silverman, who directed The Simpsons Movie and co-directed Monsters Inc, has been signed by Disney to direct The Pet, which will be his first live-action movie.

The basic plot of the movie, written by Matt Lieberman, is that a man becomes the pet of a group of aliens. In keeping with the rest of Silverman's movies, this will be a family comedy.

Sounds a good premise
But needs to be done somewhere else rather than Disney, otherwise there'd be some morals behind it. "Treat your pets right", "Family is everything", "Don't smother your kids"... all that jazz. More
