| Seth Rogen's a man who likes to keep his dance card full, with seven films in various stages of development and yet to be released. But he's just added further cast members to Observe and Report,and with production due to start this week, it looks like he's not slowing down yet. The film sees Rogen play a deluded, self-important mall security chief who gets into a turf war with local cops. Anna Faris has signed on as the shop girl he's infatuated with, Michael Pena will play his right-hand man, and Ray Liotta the local cop who is his chief nemesis. Friday Night Lights' Jesse Plemons is another mall security officer. Relative newcomer Jody Hill (no relation to Jonah) has written the script and will direct. Weirdly, Judd Apatow isn't producing, which must be against some sort of law. Doesn't he have a finger in every pie these days? |
