We don't generally write news about games because, well, why would we? But when Pav (whose function in Empire we have yet to work out) showed us the new trailer for Soul Calibur IV, we thought sure, ok, looks good. Then we watched the last 30 seconds and got a little bit over-excited. You can make Yoda fight people! People with giant breasts and impractical armor! Watch it here. Oh go on, it's Friday. You're not working anymore.

Vibroswords can block lightsabers. According to KotOR, they have Cortosis Ore woven in, which allows them to parry lightsabers. More

yeah, common knowledge for months. And they are unlockable characters, not ones you start off with. Plus best game ever? Really? No, not really. GTA4 best game ever? yes. More

Apparently Soul Caliber have been known to throw in a cameo every now and then (usually game characters though, I don't know but this could be the first time they threw in movie characters). I just see this as a gimmick, nothing more. More
