The film, which moves Luhrmann on from his Red Curtain Trilogy, takes place in Australia during World War II and follows the romance between an English aristocrat (Nicole Kidman) fending for herself on a cattle station and a drover (Hugh Jackman) who tries to help her move the cattle before the area gets bombed.
This all looking suitably lush and sweeping. We can't wait to see a trailer for this.
LOVE the shot of them kissing in the rain. This looks like an old fashioned romantic epic, and I really hope Baz delivers the goods coz that's a sort of film that's really easy to cock up. This looks like a tearjeker when it comes out, I have a nasty gut feeling that there is loads of tears to be shred in this movie.
