Incredible Hulk Trailer Live Next Week
The green meany smashes on March 12

Finally. Fiiiinally. After months of hiding away and resisting showing his big green self while all the other summer blockbusters have been exhibiting their wares, Universal has officially announced that the first trailer for The Incredible Hulk will be released on March 12, which is next Wednesday.

There's a lot riding on this first look. Not only will we (surely) get a peek at the new look Hulk in motion, but we'll also see what director Louis Leterrier has up his sleeve to win back those who didn't like Ang Lee's film and what he can offer that will make his film a smash (sorry) in a year already crowded with amazing looking comic book adaptations. No pressure.

The trailer is described as a teaser, but we hear that it'll be showing a lot, with online trailer descriptions saying we'll even get a look at abomination.

The press release gives the following description of the plot:

"The Incredible Hulk kicks off an all-new, explosive and action-packed epic of one of the most popular superheroes of all time. In this new beginning, scientist Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) desperately hunts for a cure to the gamma radiation that poisoned his cells and unleashes the unbridled force of rage within him: The Hulk.

Living in the shadows -- cut off from a life he knew and the woman he loves, Betty Ross (Liv Tyler) -- Banner struggles to avoid the obsessive pursuit of his nemesis, General Thunderbolt Ross (William Hurt), and the military machinery that seeks to capture him and brutally exploit his power.

As all three grapple with the secrets that led to The Hulk's creation, they are confronted with a monstrous new adversary known as The Abomination (Tim Roth), whose destructive strength exceeds even The Hulk's own. And on June 13, 2008, one scientist must make an agonizing final choice: accept a peaceful life as Bruce Banner or find heroism in the creature he holds inside -- The Incredible Hulk."

RE: RE: Er...trailer for the trailer!
It's actually been a decent marketing campaign. Nowhere near as interesting as The Bat, but the stills that have been released have shown a gradual progression of Norton from calm to furious, so I'm looking forward to seeing the GREEN ASS-KICKER in the trailer.   BRING IT ON! More

STEALTH ENTRY
I've seen some concept art of the Hulk and the toy model of Abomination and I think they've nailed it. After months of silence I think this could end up being a biggie!!! I've only heard good things about the trailer after it was previewed at a German toy festival. More

RE: GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO.........
L: boredbluekoala It's about flippin time. I really hope The Hulk is portrayed as a proper HERO instead of a tortured agonised reluctant loner, because let's be honest haven't we seen enough of that already? ut thats exctly what the Hulk is though. I for one enjoyed Ang Lee's Hulk, thought it was quite intelligent and got this part of the Hulk character spot on. It just took itself a little to seriously so if The Incredible Hulk has elements of the first but is a bit lighter, with a bi More
