More Join Street Fighter II Movie
Clarke Duncan, Klein and Yune Onboard

Three more have joined the cast of the upcoming Street Fighter: Legend of Chun Li, which already has Smallville's Kristin Kreuk in the title role. Those actors are Michael Clarke Duncan, Chris Klein and Rick Yune – so you know it's going to be good.

Clarke Duncan is great casting as the enormous boxer Balrog, but we've never heard of the characters Klein and Yune will be taking on. A little light Wikipeding tells us that Klein's Nash is an old war buddy of Guile, the best character in the game and enthusiastic sonic boomer. Yune's Gen is a mystical master assassin who was friends with Chun Li and taught her some of her moves. Clearly, these two characters turned up after we became too old and arthtritically fingered for the game.

Andrzej Bartkowiak, sworn enemy of spell-check, will direct from a script Voltron writer Justin Marks. Shooting is set to start in March in Bangkok, Hong Kong and Vancouver.

Streetfighter, Tekken, Dragonball, The Forbidden Kingdom...
and Chocolate. This year is going to feature either some of the best (potentially) or most disappointing (most likely) fist-to-face fight scenes ever filmed. I hope. More

Why why why??
Is this being made? The fact that the wooden girl from Smallville means this will be a flop right away! Bring back Kylie! More

Forgettable
I guarntee this movie will be forgettable, the whols premise is weak and having the wide eyed Kreuk play Chun Li is an almost unfoathable choice, she can't even pull off the role she has in smallville, much less an entire movie, I think its time to leave this franchise alone. More

So long they have Eddie Honda
He was always my fave to play. Anyway why are they doing this? Both the Van Damme starrer (sad that this Raul Julia's last move) and the anime movies were dull. Street Fighter just does have the story till make a satifacory movie. out of it So long they bring back Kylie though I'll see it lol. More

RE: A few points
L: cenaris The thing is Klein doesn't look like Charlie from the Alpha games, and Yune looks at least 50 years too young to play an elderly assassin like Gen. But Duncan looks spot on as Balrog without a doubt. know if Dudley, the boxer from Street Fighter III will appear?ote]   Doubt it - he's as forgetable as the rest of the Street Fighter 3 characters.   I think that if they need to make a live action version of Street Fighter, a series would have been better, More

RE: Kristen Kreuk???
L: Taggart She's great in Smallville, but as Chun-Li? I don't think so, she's too small and thin to be the character - Ziyi Zhang is an obvious, but much better, choice. dont think shes great in smallville and i dont think shes great at acting as a whole. i dont think she looks like a "chun li" (what exactly does a chun li look like?), im not sure she could pull it off. Zhang Ziyi would be an obvious choice. Ive not seen her in house of flying daggers, but to be honest shes c More

with gen and charlie involved it seems like its going to be based on the "alpha" games, but when will hollywood take note, actually play a street fighter game and realise that people dont play these games for the story..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3ywu4VZXdo&feature= related this is possibly better than what the movie could be like. Charlie/Nash
Actually Nash was referred to in street figher II.. just under a different name 'Charlie' (think Nash was the name used in the japanese version), believe they later made him 'Charlie Nash' in the US. He was the reason Guile was fighting cause M.Bison killed him mate (and teacher) Charlie. so is this going to be a 'prequel' to the last street fighter movie or will it (please, for the sake of all that is merciful) be completely separate from that steaming dunghill.
