For no good reason, other than it's Friday afternoon and you probably gave up doing anything useful hours ago, we thought you might like this ad that Michael Bay's made for Verizon.

Verizon is a US inter...wait, you really don't care do you? Just watch this, enjoy and maybe like Michael Bay a little more for being happy to make fun of himself.

I liked him
I agree with the fact that the island and pearl harbour where disgraceful, but Bad boys 1 and 2 and Armageddon and Transformers i liked. Easy to watch, which is nice once in a while. He really isn't that bad!!! The advert was kinda funny - not as good as last week but the pool n BBQ bit made me chuckle! More

RE: Friday Pointless
The Island? Pearl Harbor? sorry, it sounded like you had those in your DVD collection Boredblue, whats even more concerning is that you seem to actually have -enjoyed- them. (Even Bad Boys 1 & 2 are rather iffy when it comes to quality action movie making). When Mr Bay does action right, it can be spectacular. When he fails miserably in a hopeless puddle of festering cinematic poop it results in The Island and Pearl Harbor. If you are going to make such a fantastically sweeping statement as More

Bay is the action king
BAD BOYS 1 & 2, THE ROCK, ARMAGEDDON,PEARL HARBOR, THE ISLAND AND TRANSFORMERS,movies that any self respecting action junkie should and does own. And since Jim Cameron has been a tad slack with his output of late, I'd have to say that Michael Bay is THE action director of the moment More

I like Michael Bay. Sort of. He's a fantastic action director that shines when he gets to ignore such frivolities as plots and character development. Don't ask him about Blu-Ray though... More

That was brilliant! I forgive him for all that non-story-led shite he makes. Love that pool scene with the Transformer! I'm struggling to write the A-word.... Darn it! I can't resist! AWESOME! More

RE:
That was very funny, I have to say. I particularly enjoyed the little "genius" line at the beginning when he's watching footage of explosions on the TV. Kudos to Michael Bay; who woulda thunk it, eh? :P More

This, and some of Sean Connery's screen time in The Rock, are the only things that Michael Bay has been involved in that didn't SUCK. More

I might just forgive him for Bad Boys 2 after seeing that. FRIGGIN' AWSOME!! It's not quite awsome enough to atone for Pearl Harbour though. I want those three hours of my life back damn it! More
