It's becoming increasingly hard to figure out which film I am more excited about, Indiana Jones IV or this. Other than the film looking just amazing in terms of animation, it's the character of Wall-E that makes me want to see this so much. Could an animated film be entered into both the Best Picture ]Best Animated or does it have to be one or the other? Or being animated is it not now allowed to be considered for Best Picture seeing as animation has its own category?
don't think a film has to be "entered" as such (except for Best Foreign Film). As long as a film is eligible in a given category, then the studio can push for votes in that category, with the likes of the For Your Consideration ads in the trade papers... Read More
