Scorsese To Make Bob Marley Documentary To be released for his 65th birthday Source: Variety
Having documented Bob Dylan and The Rolling Stones, Martin Scorsese is now turning his attentions to Bob Marley. It even already has a release date of February 6, 2010, which would have been Marley's 65th birthday.
We're no Marley experts, but his life would seem to offer a great deal of material for a film, since there's not only his music to cover, but also his peace efforts , his religious beliefs and his untimely death.
Scorsese is building himself a nice collection of music documentaries. For his next, we'd suggest either Janice Joplin, Jimmi Hendrix or The Reynolds Girls.
first he's doing a george harrison biopic (undoubtedly the greates beatle) and now marley!
