Quantum Of Solace Teaser Poster Bond is coming... Source: Moviefone
Moviefone has secured the first teaser poster for Quantum of Solace, the 22nd Bond movie.
It's a very simple image, but an effective one, being nothing more than a looming shadow of 007 with, what we believe is referred to as, a big fuck off gun. It says vengeance to us and that seems to be the theme of the movie, which follows Bond as he searches for answers about the death of lost love Vesper Lynd.
And what does that parched earth symbolise? Is it the hardened outer service of Bond, which has become blank and unyielding from heartbreak and killing? The films and the books are two wildly different mediums. The film Bond has evolved into an entirely different beast and the lo-fi Bond approach doesn't really set him aside from the competitors.
There should be a sense of fun, even the Dalton films had them, that needs to return to the next Bond film - which Craig has indicated is the case, without going the whole way and ending up like the later Brosnan films.
Craig is possibly the best actor to play the role to date, with the exception ... Read More
