The Wanted Superbowl Spot
Jolie and McAvoy defy physics

The Wanted Superbowl Spot
Wanted is looking to us like it could be the surprise action hit of the year. The amount of footage seen so far is still pretty small, but it's all been terrific. You can see more in the Superbowl TV spot below.

In the movie, James McAvoy plays an ordinary man recruited in to a secret band of assassins by the mysterious and aptly named Fox (Angelina Jolie). Once inside, he learns strange powers and dark secrets and many, many ways of kicking ass.

Director Timur Bekmambetov showed no end of action creativity in Day Watch and Night Watch. We felt those films had a few issues with storytelling, but if he's tightened that up for this movie and kept the breakneck action, then we might be in for something special.

McAvoy is hot
McAvoy is a really good actor not to wonder that he is in all those nice/cool movies right now! But this movie must be awsome! When Jolie bends under the tunnel on the train, it looks so easy and smooth. I have to see this movie! ... Read More

Damn.........
Now THAT's something. One thing about the Night/Day Watch films, the action (and in fact everything in them) was pretty bat-shit insane. Applying that thinking to a more straightfoward action film should result in some pretty damn good results, and that's what it looks like so far. ... Read More
