Grab a slice of this...

Mmmm.... Pie. Is just us or does the very mention of pastry-encased blueberry goodness get the tastebuds going? Just us? Okay then, down to business.

We've been given a lovely new poster for Wong Kar Wai's soon-to-be-released tale of self-discovery, the search for true love and the benefits of a lovely slice of pie - and a quick perusal of the talent on offer determines it's well worth a look.

Jude Law, Rachel Weisz, Natalie Portman and singer Norah Jones (making her screen debut) bolster this none-more indie effort which marks the In The Mood For Love director's English-language debut. Watch this space for our take on the film...

FYI, to the person doing the review for Empire. This is a different version from the one that premiered at Cannes last year. After a lot of negative reviews, mostly with regards to the 'slow' pacing, director Wong Kar-wai personally cut 15 minutes from the film, including some voiceover narration. More

RE: Jude Law? Natalie Portman? Norah Jones?
What's wrong with Portman (who is smokin btw)? I'm not a big fan of Law granted but surely reserve judgement on Norah Jones until you have a point of reference  More

I've seen it and think it's weaker than most of WKW's previous work though not his worst. I rate it 7 out of 10. Just. More
