Prom Night Trailer Online
Can you say cliche?

Prom Night Trailer Online
Ladies and gentlemen, the award for Most Enthusiastic Use Of Horror Movie Cliches In Less Than 90 Seconds goes to Prom Night! The trailer for the remake of the (not especially good) slasher is online and can be seen below. And, my my my, it does like to use the old favourites.

There's people thinking they're safe behind a closed door only to find they're locked in with someone else. There's the strange voice from the dark room that simply MUST be investigated. There's a cop who only speaks in exposition. There's an escaped mental patient. We do have to give it credit for a nice spin on the cat in the cupboard trick though. Instead of a cat they used a guy in a cap. Now that's some smarts.

RE: Prom Night Trailer Online
Hating all this Remaking malarky... for the most part its a case of 'why bother?'  It should only be done when there are good reasons (lessons for the time needing reiterating as history repeats itself; the original had good ideas badly executed that is worthwhile to look at again now) but prom night has nothing going for it.  Neither version.  Same old, same all.  Remake it to make it better is about the only reason I can think of besides them glowing easy$$$$, but then thi... Read More

STOP WITH THE FING REMAKES!!!!
At least we don't have to see it - they show us every character gets killed except Blondie. It's nothing like the original - they should have just given it a different name or called it a sequel. So sick of these horror re-makes they all suck A. ... Read More
