Best Picture at this year's Oscars...!
It could well be the best film of the year not APART from or DESPITE the singing, but BECAUSE of it. This isn't an ordinary musical, these songs are actually great, and tell the story. I've seen this play in the theatre twice- once in Dublin and once in Toronto. The songs vary from haunting and spine-tingling to hilarious, heart-wrenching and poignant, Some of them are magnificent.
