Jessica Biel Will Die A Little
But not enough to stop making a movie

24 October 2007  |  Written by Olly Richards  |  Source: Variety

Jessica 'I'm not Wonder Woman' Biel has signed up for Die A Little, an adaptation of Megan Abbott's book. Abbott's 1954 set novel shows how a schoolteacher (Biel) and her LAPD detective brother have their lives thrown into turmoil by a mysterious woman. The film will update the story to the present day. The script is being written by Marcia and Geoffrey Blake.

Side note: What's with all the movie's based on books set in 1954 at the moment? Scorsese's next, Shutter Island, is set in that year and we're pretty sure Sam Mendes' Revolutionary Road starts in 1954 too. 1954 is the new Iraq.
