John Rambo First Look Trailer
Dad's Army has nothing on this guy

John Rambo First Look Trailer
God Bless Sylvester Stallone. For those of us still in denial over the encroaching years and the inexorable slog towards middle age, there can be nothing quite so heartening as the site of an overweight, aging action star, wheeling out characters from of his youth. He managed it with aplomb in Rocky Balboa and, from the look of the first trailer that’s now gone up over at Aintitcool.com, he’s going to score one for senior citizens on the front lines in John Rambo.

From ripping out someone’s throat to punching a man’s head clean off his shoulders (Coolest. Thing. Ever), this is Rambo as we knew and loved him, only this time he’s armed with love handles as well as exploding arrows. It’s also heartening to see that the perpetually pissed off vet’s swansong is very much in the tradition of his earlier escapades in terms of uncensored gore – there’ll be no 12 rating on this one, we can tell you.

Anyway, enough preamble, hop over to Aintitcool and check out this great trailer before it disappears.

I wonder why doesn't stallone act in serious films or comedy since he can play them well? His performances in Oscar & Cop land speak for themselves. I wish he could just leave rocky & rambo alone, what next? Cobra II? Demolition Man returns?? ... Read More

Hard core baby!
Stallone has grasped the zeitgeist once again with this double whammy - Rocky and Rambo. They cam along when the world needed them. The trailer fucking ROCKS!!!! I can't believe some folk are complaining 'oh, it's soooo 80s' 'Oh I don't agree with it being set in burma' Who the fuck cares??? It's Rambo. The trailer might just be untrimmed footage, but it reeks of Grindhouse cool. Stallone is reading the feedback people leave on the AITC website and I hope he takes their opinions to heart which i... Read More

Did anybody blink twice and think is this real?? Its feels so long since the era of wall to wall action. So reminiscent of 'Commando'. Brings a tear to your eye. As long there is a montage and a possible Powerstation soundtrack I'm a happy bunny! ... Read More

This looks shit hot, a combination of First Blood, Part 2 and Rambo 3. Its also good to see the action has'nt turned into the usual boring 12A certification which I heard Die Hard 4.0 could be with its PG13 release in the states, all glory no guts!. I hope Jerry Goldsmith is on board for soundtrack duty, the last three soundtracks were classic 80s action fun. Empire if you look and listen closer at the trailer I think its more likely to be Rambo's survival knife taking that soldier's head off wi... Read More
