Sandy Bullock To Kiss & Tango
Hey, it's Under The Tuscan Sun 2!!!

11 January 2007  |  Written by   |  Source: The Hollywood Reporter

Remember Under The Tuscan Sun, that Diane Lane movie from a couple of years back about a career woman who takes herself off to Italy to start a new life? Well, here it is again – only with Sandra Bullock – and in Argentina!

Yes, Bullock will star in and produce Kiss & Tango, based on a true story about Marina Palmer, a career woman (in this case, an ad exec) who, bored with the meaningless humdrum of her high-flying life in Noo Yawk, takes herself off to Buenos Aires, where she meets a hunky man, starts a new life, and writes a best-selling book about her experiences that gets turned into a movie produced by and starring Sandra Bullock. Wow.

Denise Di Novi will co-produce the flick with Sandy Bullock, while Nicole Perlman is in talks to write the script. Empire’s always had a soft spot for Bullock – she's an excellent light comedienne, and cute as a button still – but it’s hard to drum up much enthusiasm for Kiss & Tango, when it seems like something we’ve seen before, several times. Perhaps we’ll be pleasantly surprised.

But we’ll tell you this: if Bullock had signed on for a movie in which her high-flying ad executive quits her job, moves to Buenos Aires and there teams up with two mis-matched cops trying to bust a drug ring, then we’d be quaking with excitement. Kiss & Tango & Cash, anyone?

I actually really liked "UNDER THE TUSCAN SUN" but this does look like a rip-off of it. Also, we just had "A GOOD YEAR" with Russell Crowe too. I mean... how about something original. SANDRA BULLOCK even looks like DIANE LANE! More

I remember her, wasn't she an actress?
Where the hell has Sandra Bulloch been? I can remember when she used to be in some really great movies, then the Rom-Com virus hit and she practically vanished. Sandy we want you back as the kooky girl from Speed and Demolition Man, even as the tough chick from A Time to Kill would be good enough. While I'm at it, where the hell is Julia Roberts?? More
