Exclusive: Edgar Ramirez in Bourne 3
Playing Matt Damon's nemesis

This one so hot off the presses we just burned our hands and jumped around like a screaming girl for five minutes: Edgar Ramirez has been cast as Paz, the villain in The Bourne Ultimatum. Several names, including Gael Garcia Bernal and Freddy Rodriguez, had previously been mentioned in connection with the role of the assassin involved in the hunt for Jason Bourne. Ramirez is probably best known for his role as Keira Knightley's bounty hunter buddy Choco in Domino.

The Bourne Ultimatum is currently shooting in London and is scheduled for release  August 10 2007.

Hopeful
I enjoyed the first two films just hope Paul greengrass doesn't do his usual shakyhandheldcam-its worked for United 93 but the fight in the Munich house in Supremacy was just ruined. More

always look forward to a paul greengrass film, bourne 2 and united 93 were both excellent. Wish he'd put his mind to something new though - i'd love to see a swords and sandals epic in his unique style - the peter jackson-ridley scott pretenders have ruined an amazing genre, think greengrass should get in there. RE: good choice
Would've loved to have seen Matt Damon and Gael Garcia Benal face off, two wonderfully subtle actors... hope this is a good choice, haven't seen Domino, not despertate to do so either!  I trust Paul Greengrass and Tony Guilroy though, so looking forward to this one a lot... More

RE: good choice
Interesting choice. I'm curious to see where the scripts going to go seeing as the screenplay to the first 2 films is so completely different to the books. Looking forward to it. More

good choice
good chice for the main nemisis, continuing the great casting from the first 2 films. hopefully the change of location from europe to america will not hurt the tone of the series too much. More
