Harold & Kumar Return
A second stoner comedy
Source: Production Weekly

Harold & Kumar Return
Because American studios just can’t get enough of cheaply produced comedies with lots of opportunities for boobs and bongs, those pot-smoking scoundrels Harold and Kumar (AKA John Cho and Kal Penn) are coming back for seconds.

Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle (released here as Harold And Kumar Get The Munchies) was a success for New Line in 2004, so the company is headed back to the bong water-filled well for a second hit on the cash pipe.

Harold & Kumar 2 doesn’t yet have a proper title (though early word had it called Harold & Kumar Go To Amsterdam), but it does have a plot, a road trip for the pair as they try to escape the law after being suspected as terrorists when they attempt to smuggle a bong on a plane bound for Europe.

Original writers Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg are back, and this time they’ve also wrangled their way into a co-directing job (we were going to call it a joint-directing job, but that’s way too easy).

RE: YESSSSS....
I'm looking forward to this sequel I thought the first movie was actually really enjoyable and alot better than some of the American comedies that have been produced over the last few years. It will this time be set in a different country as we see Harold taking Kumar's advice and following his girlfriend over to Amsterdam. Of course you can expect all sorts of pot induced problems as they make themselves accustomed to the liberal cities way of life!   Can't wait. ... Read More
