This could be interesting. Bernal has played some pretty dark roles ina Educación,res Perrosnd g, h the was an element of the victim in all of those characters too. Physically, he's not how you would envision a typical "spy movie villain" but that could just be the very thing to make this character work. I agree that it's good to see a 'proper' actor in the role, and not just some journeyman bad guy. While I myself would also think that Bernal would be too good for the role, there are two things which go against that: 1) the quality of the role, if the previous two Bourne films are any indicator, is likely to be higher than some standard baddie roles, so possibly more of a challenge and 2) I've been watching Bernal in films for years and own most of his Spanish language ones, but to many people...
