Knightley Has The Best Time
Keira drama finally gets going

02 October 2006  |  Written by   |  Source: Production Weekly

If Keira Knightley has a problem with the script of her new film, at least she’ll have the writer’s phone number.

Because drama The Best Time Of Our Lives is finally getting the greenlight after four years in limbo. And it's written by Sharman Macdonald, also known as Keira’s mum

It’s based on the true story of the relationship between Dylan Thomas, his wife Caitlin, childhood friend Vera Phillips and Phillips’ future husband, William Killick. Knightley will play Vera.

And she knows the director, too – John Maybury previously worked with her on psychodrama The Jacket. He’ll crank the cameras in April.

Woohoo!
Finaly a chance to see how well Keira works with her family. I wonder weather it will be as good as all the others and especially The Jacket. Brinig it on! Lexi T More

Bring it on!
James Maybury did a great job with The Jacket. What a visual trip, it's nice to see the British director getting some props from the industry. He made good use of Keira Knightley in The Jacket so hopefully they will be able to find the same driving force again. I look forward to this one. Peace and love. More

NOOO!
I did Dylan Thomas for my A level english lanuage (That's right, I did him right in the bum hole) and dear god are his poems boring and meandering, I hope Hunchback in the park gets a video realization segment, as that would actually make this film the best thing ever in the history of hunchbacks having rocks thrown at them by the truanting boys More
