Good news for anyone who just can't get enough of Spaced’s Jessica Stevenson.

While she hasn’t been as prolific as former comedy cohort Simon Pegg, she hasn’t exactly been lazy, appearing in the likes of the Bridget Jones movies, Confetti and Pure – and even cropping up briefly in Pegg’s Shaun Of The Dead.

Now she’s following her co-star into blockbuster territory, snatching a role in Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix. Stevenson will play Mafalda Hopkirk, a snooty and stuffy witch from the Improper Use Of Magic Office who disciplines our hero for employing his skills outside of school.

Phoenix hits our screens on 13 July next year. Yes, we still have that long to wait.

L: dan8210 not looking forward to this- the worst, most boring and dragged out harry potter book. waiting for his dark materials and then maybe the potter after this where rowling regains some form. sp; Regardless of what you think of the book, this still has the potential to be an excellent film. Some of Rowling's best writing and ideas are contained in this book and in the movie they can cut out the fat. I'm anticipating this more than any of the others, I don't know if I can hack an More
