i can't believe it. i was grinning from ear to ear. i'm really looking forward to this film. no joke! i'm one of the few who really enjoyed rocky 5. it wrapped everything up nicely. i was sceptical of a further fight, i saw it as cashing in on his franchise. the trailer for rocky balboa was great, the calcium deposits line was a nice touch. i'll be in the audience come opening night and hope to smile all the way home. I have to be honest, when Rocky V came out i was a little bit sad, although i enjoyed it i did think it was the weakest off all the Movies, and when i found out Rocky VI (Rocky Balboa) was being made i thght "Oh Know, leave it alone..."
BUT, having just seen the Trailer, and hearing that Famous ROCKY MUSIC again, i'm totally looking forward to watching it, the Music gave me the usual 'Electric Shock' and made my hair on my neck stand up!!!

Yes the Rocky films were far fetched, cheesy and in some cases carried some very cheeky political messages.....
....but! they were fantastic entertainment, great escapism and most of all, the story of street bum making it good, its old fasioned hollywood story telling at work and man has it sorely been missed in these days o More

Well, count me in as a little bit excited. I'm with all those that proudly love the b] films for what they are and can't help but get goosepimply-type feelings while watching this trailer.
Seeing Rocky, Uncle Paulie and Duke all back is great. The thing sequel has going for it that so many don't these days is characters that we love to be in the company of. The lack of Adrian is a litle sad though.
But apart form that....

looking at the trailer it makes for a good night out at the cinema, and when its released on dvd, should make for a marathon beyond explanation. Rocky as a whole is an Icon, so is Rambo, and hey if Sly wants to make the film (even for a quick buck or to actually bring the character back) then so be it, we cant stop him, if you dont like dont watch it i say. i'm bloody excited about this movie. I thought the original Rocky was magical, inspirational and hugely uplifting. Stallone was Rocky, he was a bum with nothing. That made the film and Stallones performance all the more affecting. If they can recapture just a little bit of the magic in that movie, then this will be a success. In my opinion. More
