|She may not have appeared in a movie since a tiny 2003 indie film called A Touch Of Fate, but Desperate Housewives has well and truly put Teri Hatcher back in the address books of casting agents.|
She’s joining Rod Lurie sports drama Resurrecting The Champ, the previously announced film that stars Josh Hartnett as a reporter who finds a homeless man and mistakenly believes him to be a former world champion boxer. But even though he turns out to be a less-famous fighter (played by Samuel L. Jackson), a media whirlwind blows up around both of them.
Hatcher is playing the head of a TV channel who shows Hartnett the ropes of his new found fame. And her voice will also be heard in Henry Selick’s animated adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s Coraline.
