X3 A New Hope!!!!
Look, X1 was average at best and X2 was an improvement. Singer is a fantastic director but just didn't get the best out of the X - Men franchise that he should have. As much as I hate to admit it Superman Returns looks like the iconic hillbilly could retake the mantle as the greatest Superhero movie. I'd rather it was left alone and let the late great Reeves have his legacy or have a Smallville movie but sadly thats not the case. X - Men needed a different director, Singer did his bit..as far... Read More

Empire as a One Sheet: Your ad Here
Last month most magazines carried Clooney, was it TotalFilm who had xmen sleeve and Clooneycover? Anyone reading for a while: aren't the fanboy franchises getting a little too much cover time now? But Empire covers more than just science fiction. The cover wasn't always"Your ad here" was it? My girlfriend also buys the magazine, but there's only so many supermen one can handle (even me, and I like my superheroes at 210mins). Thoughts? ... Read More

Covers...
...look good. Brett Ratner, however, very bad. The trailer gives me some hope, it's epic, and has the Dark Phoenix saga. The problem is Bryan Singer, with the first 2, directed for me the 2 finest superhero films yet, whereas Ratner is the hack who directed "Rush Hour". I'm an optimist though, so fingers crossed, I'm too much of an X-Men geek to be completely down on it. ... Read More

Brett Ratner has never made a great film. FACT.
This could be the chance to see his talent - and he was talent spotted by none other than Steven Spielberg - finally soar like a great big giant phoenix .   Personally I feel that Brett Ratner and Bryan Singer met in a bar. Ratner: What's your problem good buddy? Singer: I don't know, okay, well I'm developing a pretty passable X Men 3 but really want to make a truly great new Superman movie. Ratner: No kidding! I'm developing a crummy Superman Returns but somehow ... Read More

never understood the negativity ....maybe I am missing something....as I understand it those dodgy photos of Juggernaut were of the costumne before the CGI adjustments and other gadgetry they put on the finished film..incluidng lens filters etc....so he was bound to look crap...as also can't belive that they would allo any director to put a personal stamp on anything so the chances of hiim buggeringit up are slim...its like BOND ......any fool can direct them.... ... Read More
