They need a big name...
Tom cruise is a very harsh one, and their are far worse performances worthy of the Razzie (see my previous post). But I guess its also a marketing ploy to give the awards more publicity. If they did really choose the worst films and actors i.e. Son of Mask for all the nominations and its actors, who'd really be that interested and pay attention? Throw in Tom Cruise and the press jump on it and sudddenly its big news pulibicity...harsh but makes sense. ... Read More

The Razzies are a JOKE!!!
I know the awards are quite tongue-in-cheek by tradition, but the nominations are suppose to reflect the worst films of the year. However, this year they just stink of Easy-Target-Syndrome and celebrity-hating. For example the new "Most Tiresome Tabloid Targets" award..What has the TomKat/"jumping the couch"-media nightmare got to do with making a bad film. TomKat's public shenanigans didn't turn WotW & BB into bad bad films. Britney can't even be classified a movie star ... Read More

I'm all for Tom cruises unconvincing performances and social intolerances getting a mention. But Katie Holmes was quite good in Batman begins. And the Rock is always enjoyable - especially in roles where he doesn't take himself too seriously. ... Read More

Discodave although I am a fan of Ewan McGregor's I got to admit that his performance in Sith was his wosrt yet but not that bad to get an award for that! Anw I have one other thing to say : Tom Cruise worst actor?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I am not a fan of little Tommy's but I admit he is very talented and I don't believe he deserves this kind of award; not at least yet (excludind his performance in Vanilla Sky which was terrible but also not a razzie-worthy). ... Read More

to the guy below me
I dunno about Ewan's performance being the worse. most people would agree that he really got the role of Obi wan and made it his own in sith. to be fair, I don't think Hayden should be nominated becuase I've seen far worse. Even though im not the biggest tom cruise fan, he shouldnt be nomiinated either for WotW's even though I didn't think much of the film ( well, the last third of it). meh, the Razzie's are a joke ... Read More

How did Ewan Mcgregor escape?
Hayden gets nominated but Ewan avoids nomination for his worst performance ever in Revenge of the sith!? Why why why can't anyone see how terrible he is in it!!?? You can tell he realises its pretty bad and that he doesn't care...we all know he's a quality actor so to see him do that level of performance def needs a razzie nomination... ... Read More
