Prince Caspian Is Coming Narnia sequel gets underway
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe has already earned $530 million worldwide, so it should come as no surprise that the next book in the Narnia series, Prince Caspian, is being geared up to follow its predecessor to the big screen.
The story sees the four Pevensie children return to Narnia, only to discover that hundreds of years have passed since they ruled there, and the evil King Miraz has taken charge. With the help of a heroic mouse called Reepicheep, and the exiled heir to the throne, Prince Caspian, they set out to overthrow the King, once again with Aslan's help.
Producers are currently beginning work on a script and are expected to find a director within the next few weeks. It's not yet confirmed whether Andrew Adamson will return. They hope to begin production by the end of this year.

I am thrilled they are continuing the stories. With the right director these movies could be some of the all time greats. I love these stories and they need to be done justice on the big screen. Pay attention to detail from the book and these movies will soar! ... Read More
I went and saw the movie last night, the day after reading the book. I give it a 3/10. I was disappointed with many parts and it is unfortunate that Disney got to produced it.
I hate when they deliberately change the story so they can call it 'their' version. The work did not need change, it needed someone to accurately potray the book into a film. I dont mind them adding to a work to set the scene and depth in a film, but many times there was change for no reason than to chop a few secon... Read More
As long as they don’t make the same mistake as they did last time and turn it into a children’s film, where the ‘fighting’ to ‘young children crying’ ratio is a little biased to the latter, I think this is something to look forward to. ... Read More
LWW perfectly captured the spirit of the book. I enjoyed the film's subtlety and the child actors were excellent. Think of it's lack of grandeur as a blessing, Empire, rather than a curse. I anticipate Prince Caspian heavily. ... Read More
I hope Prince Caspian will be as good as Lion-Witch-Wardrobe;
actually, 'grandeur' is not a word I associate with Narnia - it's great, but both story and country are on a smaller scale than, say...Middle-Earth. But who knows what epic scales we might reach in a third Narnia-film (see above..)? ... Read More

I loved this film and thought that it was quite faithfull to the book. The child actors were much better than the Harry Potter ones and the film gripped me all the way through to the end. I can't wait to see this one. ... Read More
With such a profit on the cinema release of LW+W is it a surprise they got this moving so quickly? It all depends on how well this one does (not many of the other books are that well known to the general public) as a film as to whether the rest of the books are converted I'd guess. ... Read More
The last film was terrible, so slow moving, unspectacular cinematography and alot of burden on mediocre child actors. Unfortunately since the series has the considerable financial support of the american christian right movement we're likely to have to suffer through another 6 of these empty empty movies. ... it was inevitable really i suppose, but considering how good TLTWATW was this is good news. Prince Caspian is my second favourite of the series of books so I look forward to seeing it. ... Read More
