| As if it weren't enough that South Africa was naming babies after her, Charlize Theron has been named actress of the year at the Hollywood Film Awards for her role in North County. Joaquin Phoenix was named actor of the year for his depiction of Johnny Cash in the biopic Walk the Line while Jennifer Aniston presented her Good Girl co-star, Jake Gyllenhaal with the award for best breakthrough actor for Jarhead. Susan Sarandon won best supporting actress for Elizabethtown, and Matthew Broderick picked up the best supporting actor gong for The Producers. |
