Exclusive: New Surrogates Trailer Online See Bruce blow stuff up!
Here's a Friday morning treat to get you through to 5pm: the new trailer for Surrogates, Jonathan Mostow's Bruce Willis-starring sci-fi thriller about a world where everyone interacts through robot doubles. Now admittedly, this trailer looks uncannily like the last trailer, but it does at least have a cool new opening section and there are some fresh snippets scattered throughout its running time.
Brucie plays Agent Greer, a homicide cop in a world where surrogates have ended violence. But when several operators (ie people) die when their surrogates are killed, he is called into action to investigate - and when his surrogate is also killed, the real Bruce has to step out onto the streets for the first time in years.
The cast also includes James Cromwell, Ving Rhames, Rosamund Pike and Radha Mitchell, which makes it a pretty tasty line-up, and lots of stuff blows up so that's always fun. Surrogates is out on September 25.

I loved Breakdown, so I'm going to cut Mostow some slack. The trailer looked promising, but far too long - I hope there are still a couple of surprises left. Looks like minority report with a bit of the matrix for good measure. So pretty derivative premise-wise. But Bruce Willis is normally good enetertainment value so I;ll see this. Just probably on DVD. ... Read More
