Exclusive: New 500 Days Poster
Indie rom-com gets a UK promo
10 July 2009

Exclusive: New 500 Days Poster

Here's a Friday afternoon treat: the new UK poster for really-rather-likeable 500 Days of Summer, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel. As you can tell from the fact that neither of those people is called Matthew McConaughey, this may be romantic(ish) but it's an indie film rather than the usual sort of rom-com.

The film sees Gordon Levitt's Tom fall in love with new-girl-in-the-office Summer, but the course of true love doesn't run as smooth as he'd like.

The film's probably a little less cutesy than this poster, but it's not a bad representation of Gordon-Levitt's likeable but slightly shy Tom. It's out here on September 4, so you've got a while to go, but in the meantime hopefully these two posters and this trailer will keep you going.

The Anti-RomCom
This film really reminds me of high fidelity! the whole idea behind a Rom-Com thats a little more serious, like when the characters have to settle differences rather than meet for the first time. it's lookin' cool and not at all cheesy. ... Read More
