World Exclusive: The Firm Poster Nick Love's football casuals
The Firm sees Nick Love, the man behind The Football Factory, return with another glimpse of the dark side of the beautiful game and here's a first glimpse of the poster in all its shellsuited-and-booted glory, courtesy of Warner Bros.
Originally an Alan Clarke-directed TV drama with Gary Oldman as an unhinged crew leader, The Firm is given a different skew by Love's reboot which follows the seduction of the funny, fast-mouthed Dom (Calum McNab) into the violent world of football hooliganism. Expect the insults - and bottles - to fly as a soon-hesitant Dom finds the casual lifestyle a lot easier to get into than out of.
The Firm is in cinemas on September 25, and co-stars Paul Anderson as gang leader Bex and Daniel Mays.

ve and directs about what he knows. I'm not saying he's a rthing but he gave a talk at our Uni last year and was very honest in admitting that he's far from the most original or versatile film-maker. But after leaving film school, he decided to write and direct material that he understood and knew would sell. To any budding film-makers bitching and moaning about veriting and directing five of your own (successful) films first.

Enjoyed Football Factory, The Business was amusing, but Outlaw was one of the biggest piles of wank I have ever seen. I do wish they'd leave this alone though, Still, could be worse, they could be remaking ID. Then I would have to kill someone. ... Read More

I like Nick Love's films...but this really does look poor.
He really needs to stop being a geezar and make something different because I do think he's got a good eye for realism without being all documentary and in your face. ... Read More
Awright Geezah? if you liked crap like The Business, Football Factory and Green Street, then you'll be well up fer this! WHAT A LOAD OF BOLLOCKS. ... Read More
This is the worst 'exclusive' ever. I didn't know one of the worst directors in history was remaking a cult British film for TV classic and I am now rather perturbed. Football Factory was puerile and pathetic, The Business was worse and both films have spawned the established 'career' of Danny Dyer. Does Nick Love have no shame? He should be made redundant if possible ... Read More
The original is a classic with some of the best threats/dialogue of any brit film.it captures that era perfectly and no body does "mentalist" quite like Gary Oldman, A hard act to follow indeed but it might be worth a look, just hope they don't employ too many ex-hobbits as hooligans! ... Read More
